  6. PLEASE NOTE:  This version of Easy Icons supports long filenames, although, it is
  7.               still in beta testing, which means there may be unencountered bugs.
  8.               you are welcome to use this version if you like.  If you encounter
  9.               bugs, and would like to inform us of them, you may contact me at any
  10.               address or number below.  Also be sure to place a copy of your (.lic)
  11.               file, if you're a registered user, in the same directory that you
  12.               install this version to.

  33. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  34. This Application requires Windows 95 or Windows NT in order to load and run.
  35. There is a version of Easy Icons for Windows 3.1 and 3.11(Easy Icons 3.0).
  36. It can be located on various forums throughout Compuserve.
  37.  
  38. Beginning with this version, Easy Icons 95 now fully supports long filenames.
  39.

  41. NOTE: This application also requires the file "VBRUN300.DLL" to be located in 
  42.       your "windows\system" Directory in order to load and run correctly.
  43.       If you have windows 95, you should already have this file.  If you are
  44.       unable to locate this file in your windows\system directory, use explorer
  45.       to search your Win95 CD, it can be found in about 6 locations there.  
  46.       Simply copy it to your windows/system directory.

  48.       If you do not have this file it can be found on most shareware forums
  49.       on compuserve.

  51. NOTE: If you don't use the Setup program to install Easy Icons, it will not
  52.       be entered into the system registry and certain features will not be 
  53.       available to you. (i.e. double clicking on a file to Open it, Uninstall, etc.)

  56. INSTALLATION
  57. Unzip the "Easy Icons" Files to a temporary directory and then run Setup.exe.
  58. you should see these files.

  60.     SETUP.EXE - Run this program for Easy installation.  For manual
  61.                 Installation, Place the following files in their proper
  62.                 Directories...

  65.     Readme.txt - This is the file you are now reading.
  66.  
  67.     EasyIcon.exe - Put in the directory of your choice.
  68.  
  69.     Cmdialog.vbx - Copy to your "c:\Windows\system" directory. Unless you
  70.                    have a later version of this file allready there.

  72.     Msoutlin.vbx - Copy to your "c:\Windows\system" directory. Unless you
  73.                    have a later version of this file allready there.

  75.     Setupkit.dll - Used by setup.exe
  76.  
  77.     OrderFrm.txt - Print this form to register this software.

  79.     EasyIcon.hlp - Also Put this file in the same directory with "EasyIcon.exe"

  81.     Easyout.exe  - This goes in the Windows Directory and is used to Uninstall.

  88. UNINSTALLING
  89. To uninstall Easy Icons 95 from Windows 95:

  91.     Open Control Panel

  93.     Goto Add/Remove Programs
  94.  
  95.     Select "Uninstall Easy Icons 95"

  97.     Click on the add/remove button
  98.  
  99.     Follow the Uninstaller prompts
  100.  
  101.     Then delete the file "easyout.exe" from your windows directory 
  102.
